• Non-ablative means the laser does not remove or vaporise the outermost skin layer (epidermis). Instead, it works beneath the surface.

Your skin is now going through a healing process so go easy on your skin for 5 - 7 days.

Expect some redness, warmth, tenderness and mild swelling for the first 12 hours.

To Do:

• Avoid your serums or exfoliation for five days post treatment. You can use a gentle cleanser, moisturiser & SPF only.

• Always avoid direct sunlight for 48 hours after treatment.

• Wear sunscreen and reapply every 2 hours, if outdoors always wear a wide brim hat. This is non negotiable.

• Avoid excess heat & excessive sweating for 48 hours.

• Do not schedule any injectable treatments for 2 weeks pre and post treatment.

Results:

You may notice textural changes within the first few weeks after LaseMD Ultra.

It’s completely normal to experience redness and a warm, sunburnt sensation for up to 48 hours after your treatment, along with mild swelling, particularly around the eyes.

Over the following days, your skin may feel dry or rough, the treated areas may appear slightly darker and shedding can occur as your skin renews itself.

Most people experience around 5–7 days of visible healing before their skin begins to feel smoother, brighter and refreshed.
